HENKE OF TheBANK OF EDWARDSVILLE GRADUATES AS A PART OF THE IBA’S FUTURE LEADERS ALLIANCE CLASS OF 2010

EDWARDSVILLE, ILL., Aug. 25, 2010… Cale Henke, assistant vice president and center manager at TheBANK of Edwardsville, recently graduated as part of the Illinois Banker’s Association’s Future Leaders Alliance Class of 2010.

The graduation was celebrated as part of the Illinois Banker’s Association’s (IBA) Annual Conference and Trade Show in Springfield, Ill.  The IBA recognizes people each year who have worked hard to further their careers in banking.  These people have also proven to be outstanding citizens in their communities through their hours of community service and customer appreciation.

Henke is part of the Future Leaders Alliance because of his commitment to teaching local high school students the importance of banking and its processes.  He taught the students how to be responsible with their money at a young age.  He also taught them about today’s economic downturn and how it is impacting them now, even as teenagers, and how it can affect their futures.  In his teachings, Henke also stressed the importance of a good credit history and gave tips on how to build your credit, even at a young age.

Henke has been an employee of TheBANK of Edwardsville for nine years.  A native of Edwardsville, Henke graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in business.  He is also the Secretary for the Southwestern Illinois Banker’s Federation.

TheBANK of Edwardsville, with its 2010 theme: “Because We Care,” has always been very involved in the community.  They stress to their employees the importance on volunteering and giving back.  ThBANK has assets exceeding $1.4 billion and a long tradition of providing personal service and offering innovative products.  For more information, please visit www.4thebank.com.
