RACHAEL KUNKEL TO ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

EDWARDSVILLE, ILL., Nov. 15, 2010  . . . The Goddard School in Edwardsville is pleased to announce that Rachael Kunkel has been promoted to Assistant Director.  Kunkel joined The Goddard School located in Edwardsville in 2009 as lead teacher.  In her new role as Assistant Director, Kunkel will be responsible for lesson planning compliance and delivery and administration of the educational curriculums and programs, which serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.  Kunkel is also responsible for ensuring all quality standards are being implemented and exceeded.  She also helps coordinate special activities at the school, educational visitors, and staff meetings.

A long-time resident of Collinsville, Kunkel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  Prior to joining The Goddard School located in Edwardsville, Kunkel was a substitute teacher in the Edwardsville School District for a year.

Kunkel and her husband, Shawn, live in Collinsville.
