Branding

Branding has been the big buzz word in the industry for several years now.  Some companies have caught on, others need help.  We chose our name “Cork Tree” because we liked the way it sounds and because we thought it would get people talking.  So far, it’s working.  We are often asked the question, “What’s the relevance of a Cork Tree?” “Where on earth did you come up with that name?”  It might not make sense to everyone but they’re talking about it.  

That’s our way of branding our company in a totally saturated market of PR and marketing firms that have initials and names as their company indicia.  We wanted to be different  . . . because we are.  

Once a company has its identity, it’s important to play it through in all aspects of marketing.  That means from the time a company chooses its name and logo, it should be represented everywhere it can be used – in ads, on letterhead, websites, brochures, business cards, storefront, email signature and apparel.  And soon, they’ll all be talking about you.
